Hey, ummm, Yeah. Day and night mod, I like it because it gives off a scary atmosphear in mecklinberg.. I can get one that's really slow, and 1 hour in game is 10 minutes approx Real time.

Then the flashlights.. It laggs some people, not me though..

I just think it would add to it.

I've always wanted a day/night mod. I just don't know much about it. But I hate always having to say "Nice night, huh? Always a clear night in Mecklenburg."

Would be nice if the background would change with it too. I hate it when it's day, the sky is night, or when it's nighttime, the sky is day...and so forth...

Looks like a good idea except robbers would have a higher chance of robbing a store w/o getting caught in the dark

Thats what I like bout it, criminals wouldn't be stupid and rob the 7-11 in the middle of the day.

The Mecklenburg we are used to is always staged at nighttime. Incorporating a day/night mod into the server would mean that it also has a day cycle, and not that the map would be getting darker than it already is.

if you download the map from the server though, the sky is daytime. (or at least it was last time I checked)

Yeah but the lighting still is dark, it's default to Mecklinberg

I like the idea of a day and night mod, but skip the flashlights. People taking a latenight stroll dont have flashlights, do they?

well, best idea is to make it so that it doesn't efect normal lights such as street lamps and the lights indoors. Then things would be much easier and all...

...other than those, I think nighttime mod is a pretty great thing.
