1. Management
Do what you're told. Simple, right?
2. Hits and Contract Kills
Mafia Hitmen may only take hit orders from the Don, a Right Hand Man, or in special cases, an Underboss. Unless given specific permission to do so, you may not take contracts from people outside of the family.
Hit orders come from two different places: the public, and the family. If a hit request comes from the public, it's in response to an advertisement sent out by a high-ranking member. That member will take the request, and if they deem it suitable, they will pass it on to a hitman.
The hitman has very strict rules which (s)he must follow. First, your bonus is forfeit if you are arrested. If you complete the contract without attracting any unwanted attention (that is to say, without any witnesses) then you receive 20% of the payment for the hit. If you kill anyone else, you receive no bonus.
You are not to kill anyone other than the mark. Doing otherwise will jeopardize our organization, and can lead to serious issues for us in the future. Do not, under any circumstances, kill a police officer unless it is absolutely necessary. If you are a hitman, then you should have enough discretion to determine this on your own, otherwise, you won't be a hitman for long.
3. Weapon Deals
Currently, the weapons we have in stock, and their prices, are:
Combat Knife - Varies Glock 18 - $150 Golden Colts - $600 Mini Uzi - $300 AK47 - $800 USAS - $400
Due to the ranks, we don't have a "Mafia Dealer" job. Thus far, we've just used the rank "Mafia Gunman" for this purpose. Gunmen are dealers, and only gunmen. No one else should be selling weapons unless authorized by an Underboss, Right Hand Man, or the Don himself.
It is your job to seek out potential buyers. However, be very careful who you sell to. Don't go meet a client for the first time with illegal weapons on you; if that person is a cop under cover, you could cause serious problems for the rest of the family.
If you think the person you're dealing with is reputable and trustworthy, and won't turn their new guns on us, then you can make the sale. Get their name, however, so we know in the future if we can deal with them or not. An alias is acceptable.
Dealers don't kill people. Ever.
It's bad for business, and you might get arrested. Don't do it. Now if an Underboss, Right Hand Man, or the Don tells you to do it, that's different. However, don't kill some one on your own initiative. It's actually better if you go to the cops and get the guy arrested. We try to cooperate with the police as far as it suits our purposes.
Finally, under no circumstances what-so-ever should you bring the client to the bar. We take our business to our customers, we don't take our customers to our business. You should never bring anyone who is not in the Mafia in to the Mafia's home. If you do, your employment will be terminated.
(Updated as of 3/27/09): Do not request promotions; this will get you demoted immediately, no questions asked. If you really want to go up in rank, earn it.
