I've been trying to set up a server to help out Jason with his Swat training idea, but anytime i start it up no one can join. I was told my ports don't need to be changed if i use dedicated server, sv_lan is set to 0.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Try typing in heartbeat and then changing the map too.

Can you post the whole error you get? And here is the steam support page on how to start servers and host them, might find a solution in there somwhere.
