((First of all, hi, I'm new in this great community.
I would ask some things that I don't know:


1. When are you supposed to get paid? I am guard, I've been playing the server for 1:30 hours at least, I'm 65% hungry and I'm worry that I've not get paid for the first time yet.

2. Can you change job whenever you want?

3. I've heard that before NCIU there was CIA in NukeCity, but... has it gone? No more CIA? Do the men in NCIU do the same job as CIA ones did?

1. You do actually get paid every 2 minutes, only to check your account you have to go to the bank and use the NPC there.
2. You can if you want, but job switching is frowned upon and you can quickly gain enemies by org hopping.
3. The NCIU is just a new name for CIA.

(( Thank you, your reply did really help me. Now, I've got some other questions:

1. I use the /Withdraw and /Deposit commands at the bank. Can I see how much money have I got, with some command?

2. When you've bought food, how do you eat?

3. For some reason, when I run the Specialists, I start without crosshair either hud. I have to use the "cl_realhud 0" and "nohud 0" commands in console to solve it, but when I get out and later restart the game I have to repeat that. Can I solve it? ))

1. Use the /buy command at the bank to check your account status. Another handy command is the /transfer command, when you need to transfer large sums of money to another person's account. For that you type /transfer <player name> <amount>.

2. When you've bought food, type /items and use the menu to select the food you want to eat. The /items menu is your resource for using all the items in your inventory. Also note that you will not die as soon as your hunger level reaches 100%, but rather you will slowly become weaker over time until you do die (I believe), if you do not eat.

3. The Nukesilo TSRP server uses a plugin that disables your HUD to make the experience more realistic. (We don't see crosshairs directly in front of us at all times in real life.) You may use the cl_realhud 0 command outside the TSRP server to reactivate your traditional HUD, but you may be automatically banned if you try to activate it on the TSRP server. And for that matter, I'd recommend that you just refrain from using the traditional HUD at all, because if you can control your aim without crosshairs then you can control your aim with them. Not many people can say that much about themselves. of

Also, yes the NCIU is pretty much the CIA with a new name, though we are trying to fix that by finding people who are capable of roleplaying it properly. It's a work in slow, slow progress.

I think before (yesterday), when I came to the bank or shop, I could see a screen text with instructions like "Use /buy to buy items", now I don't. Can it be because of something deactivated, like the hud or crosshair?

When you die, you loose the money you've "in your hand" (not at bank)?

How to do (Actions), (Shout), etc.?

Well, I hope this is the last question: Should I see, at up-right part of the screen, that I'm bleeding? (my status, when I bleed)




I like it, I don't want to see the hud either the crosshair when I roleplay, but I was talking about DM servers. I always have to use that commands when I run the game to reactivate the hud and cross, how to make them to be active by default? It's pretty tiring to have always to use them to play fine.

For your first question, I believe you are referring to one of the help screens, which you reached by typing "/help" or "/commands". For more information on in-game commands, refer to this topic: http://forums.nukesilo.net/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=6286 That topic also discusses the action and shout commands.

Your second question: You lose only the money that is in your "wallet". All money in your bank account will remain intact.

Third question: I don't believe the screen has any sort of text that tells you if you are bleeding, but it will blink red in that case. The longer the red is displayed, the more hurt you are.

Final question: I don't know if there is any easy way to automatically set your HUD to come back on when you join another server. I would go out on a limb and say you'll have to do it manually every time. But again, I would strongly recommend that you don't use the HUD anyway. Sooner or later you'll be so good you won't need to be told your health, weapon status or where you're aiming. Why? Because you'll already know that a) you don't die, b) you could kill as many people with 1 bullet as with 30 bullets, or with your fists for that matter, and c) you don't miss.

Actions are done by starting a chat message (default 'y') with /me

Example:
/me sits down.

(Action) Name sits down.


shouting is done by starting it with shout

And the thing about it saying Use /buy to buy this and this


It sometimes shows it, sometimes doesn't its not anything you did, but whether it shows it or not if you are standing in the correct place and type /buy (or use your bind for it) it will bring up the buy menu.

Well... I've got the problem that I can't use "e" key to use/get weapons ingame, like it happens with my crosshair and hud that do disable automatically when running the game. I am thinking about uninstalling and installing again The Specialists mod, so all my problems will be solved. I suppose that my game info is in your database attached with my Steam ID, and that reinstalling the mod will not get my character deleted.
Anyway, I would know what's the bind code for the 'use' action if you know.

The only thing your use key is good for in-game is picking weapons up off the ground. Otherwise it has no use on the server. If you are trying to do something else with the use key, there is probably a specific command you have to enter for that. Also, you can bind the use key in your controls menu.

Someone in the server told me that I had to press the 'use' key to pick a pistol from the PD. Have I? If not, what's the command/key to get the weapon? (You say that there's no use for use key in the server)

Ok, I meant any weapon physically laying around, you will need your "use" key for. But you can always purchase one from the gunshop with your "use" key. I don't think binding the "use" key through the console will help if it's not working.

Okay, I solved it (the problem was a game error), and the "E" key does work again (and I can pick the weapons in PD). It was strange that I didn't work when I had it binded. Thanks anyway.

If you used a phone in game without exitting out of the phone menu completely it sometimes won't let you pick up guns.
