Quick question...since commissioner and assistant commissioner (i believe) are over PD, SWAT, MD and NCIU should they maybe not be a rank in the NCPD and instead be a rank in NCMO? For the sake of organizing the cluttered NCPD Roster and for better organizational purposes.

I don't think so, because the NCMO doesn't have a lot to do with the police.

EDIT: Also, a Sheriff is considered to be a commissioner. So, yea, Sheriffs are less politics and more police.

But there is a commissioners office in the NCMO. Idk, I think its a good idea if there is more checks and balances with the police department.

This is an example of NYC police department. Obviously the 'First Deputy Commissioner' position is equivalent to our Assistant Commissioner.

Commissioner jobs can't be linked with mayors office jobs unless we gave mayors office jobs all police powers the commissioners have.
