I think that cops should get crosshairs. The reason being is that they would have undergone firearms training in the Police Academy so they would know how to shoot. Maybe change the cl_realhud force code/plugin (or however you do it) to have a string that says something like

If client's job id = (whatever the PD range is)
Then cl_realhud 0
Else cl_realhud 1

Or something.

If they've undergone training, then they should be able to shoot with or without the crosshairs, should they not? We are enhancing the realism by removing the crosshairs, which real cops don't have, forcing everyone to focus on the aspect of training.

I like no crosshairs better because its more fun during pursuits cause you miss a lot instead of just wiping out the enemy, and it can also improve aim without crosshair.

Exactly. If anyone is in desperate need of practice, they should just go to a deathmatch server and play for awhile. Before very long it's almost like the crosshairs are still there.

I agree with the others, in my opinion the crosshair just seems unrealistic.
Ive played without HUD for a long time, I know where my crosshair is, without seeing it.
I'm actually better without the HUD.
