Hello. Officer I, Victor Simone, here.

I sent in my application about a month and a half ago. To which I was interviewed and accepted as a NCPD Rookie.

I was promoted to an Officer I after a week of training, which is understandable.

What isn't understandable is that I'm on the NukeSilo TSRP server nearly everyday, and since I was promoted to an Officer I, I haven't seen any further promotions.
I know you're probably looking at this, and are about to write: "Promotions are based on skill; not periods of time."
I understand this. But... a month and a half for my second promotion?
I'm an intelligent person, and I believe I rp pretty well.


I'm not asking for a promotion, I'm asking for an explanation.

I've been wanting to promote you for a while now, just haven't been able to. However, I just did in game.

You must understand, promotions are based on skill, like you said.


However this skill must be seen by police executives, you have to be in the right place at the right time.

Then after the executive makes the decision to promote you, they must find time in game (as well as fitting into out of game schedules) to do the promotion, hopefully through rp and not "HERE MORE MONIES FOR YOU" over the com.

Also, the PD can't afford to promote everyone in a timely manner if they are not able to take in new recruits in the same fashion. There must always be a balanced hierarchical system in place, and sometimes, unfortunately, that means promotions cannot be warranted.
