Yea, thanks for the mention, because you know I would have thrashed you if you didn't associate me with soccer. Just kidding...you would kill me in a 1 on 1 I imagine...anywho...
Just played our first season game last night against the division leader. We were up 2-1 in the first half, but got bombed 3-2 in the final. It was a really fun and aggressive game though. So intense!
(For bragging rights...
) It is possible that people in my area have been known in some way or another over the years. A few years back, my indoor team, the Bombers, won a competition that ranked us second in the Northeastern region of the U.S. We were qualified to go to the National tournament in Chicago, but we lacked the funding and skill to compete. Also, my high school team has been blessed with an avid player from the U.S. National Team, a starting fullback and captain. Really, there's no reason for me to be saying this other than the fact that I am proud of what these people have been doing.
So, yea, I've come to breathe soccer, and I'm sure Boo could say quite the same.
