For Harbu plugins it might be best to post on harbus forums.

However, if you really don't want to and want to post here, those of us that know what to do will help you get your server running.

okay ty i guess. but do you use mysql 4.0 or 4.1 ?

da*n this language is jibber jabber to me. do this..just play in our server actually, i would like to learn how to set crap up like this. keep tlaking i want to learn

i use navicat and that works fine :\

The log tells me you are running a listen server. If you plan on making a serious RP server, DONT DO THIS. Get a dedicated on another computer that isn't used.

Also describe the errors in a numbered format so I can easily understand what they are.

Your Settings are not correct. Make sure you edited your harbu_rp_config.cfg and set the database, username, password all correctly.

That and I do highly suggest you run a dedicated as well, running a listen server is a very bad idea.

i took dedicated server from steam and i still get same error i might will try the program you told me

Also make sure mysql is installed right and your settings for it is also right.

listening servers aint so bad...i made 1 once on brain bread, had 10 people join all with about 50 ping, and i still had plenty of cpu 4 me

yeah but for a rp server you want it up all the time, usally. With a listen server you can't do that.

well i change my mind and make a server and now i get a problem with mysql it says

cannot conenct o localhost.

i dun know whuts wrong.

Get the program easy php, you have to run that, then connect to mysql.

well when i install mysql v4.0 you cant set any password in begining and im trying to login it says the same and i have restarted my comp and check everything but :\ and when im connecting with my navicat to a friend it happends the same for him :\ it sets a password
