So, like a lot of people I've been waiting on the big releases of October. I got Fable II and Farcry 2 on their released dates, and am now waiting on Fallout 3 on the 28th. Fable is great so far lots of stuff to do and mess around with. FarCry is a lot of fun, but the stealth mechanics seem a little wonky. Can't wait to load up Fallout 3 and leave the Vault. Anyone else get/getting any of these games? |

I love you, all of those look awesome with the exception of Far Cry 2. Not exactly that great of a game, generic first-person shooter with amazing graphics. Seen alot in my time. |

Far Cry 2 is hardly generic, Gears of War 2 is generic. Far Cry 2 adds a lot of new mechanics to the FPS realm, such as real time weather, weapon jamming and wear, vastly intelligent AI, in-depth wounding system and healing system, not just some health pack BS, one of the best map editors I have EVER seen, etc. Its not perfect, such as the annoying amount of enemy check points on the roads, or the non existence of a few things promised by the developers. It is in no way is it just another generic FPS though. |

I've been playing Far Cry 2 lately. I have to say its one of the best games I've ever played. Perfectly optimized, which means it looks beautiful and runs fast on my x1600, surprisingly, even with everything on medium + Trees, Physics and Fire on very high (Check my xfire page for some screenshots). |

I got Fable 2 last weekend, It's pretty fun the story is really short though ='(. I'm hoping to get FO3 this weekend. |

I rented Fallout 3 and it was amazing and very addictive, oh and a little word of advice, make sure you dont blow up the bomb (youll figure out what i mean once you play it) |
