I've noticed that the server is empty almost all of the time, and that the last post on the forum was over a month ago. I would like to know what people think about hiring new admins(I could be one, but it'd probably be better left to someone more experienced). I loved this server a couple of years ago. I might even be able to hire my friend Cerb, and he's the most experienced person in this I've ever seen. So, that's just something to think about, because I'd like to see NukeSilo TSRP having a future. |

Whether we hire new admins or not, the solution we are looking for is simply for people to play on the server. Nobody has to be an admin in order to get on the server and encourage people to start playing. And those who wish to become admins are urged to apply via the forums and be as active in Nukesilo as possible. In other words, those who wish to become admins should probably try playing on the server quite a bit if they want the position. Also, some of the managers are working on a new map, which they hope will bring some excitement back to Nukesilo. We appreciate your concern and welcome any more suggestions you have. |

Alright, that sounds good. One thing though... There are no admins, so there are no jobs. If there are, you should have the command in the message of the day box I think. Without jobs, there's not much roleplay available. I'll try to hang out in the server sometimes though, see if I can interest people. |

Right you are about that. We could stand to have some admins in-game offering jobs when needed. However, our main method of hiring someone for any job is for them to apply on the forums, so please refer anyone you see is in need of a job to the forums. |

I'll start getting more active again. Edit: Nevermind, the game's crashing on me every da*n second once I enter a game. |

atsu333 wrote: hiring new admins(I could be one, but it'd probably be better left to someone more experienced). if you get in the server and can fill it, then please feel free to apply. (Though this only works if we actually see you trying to get it active) Just don't be a total asshat, apply, get accepted, then never show up for the interview like the last two people did. |

Well, I normally go in the server every once in a while. The problem is, that the RP plug-in keeps getting un-coded. When I go and page the admins, no one replied. After being in there for around 30 minutes and no one restarting the server, (I couldn't get into MIRC at the time) I told Capn to tell another admin to restart the server. After another 15 minutes of no one coming on the server and no one restarting the server, I left. PS: I lost my job for some reason, so thats another reason why I don't play on the server. |

I am always available through AIM (I have my messages forward to my cell phone when I'm away.), so I'd recommend contacting me that way if you cannot get ahold of anyone on the IRC channel. Screen name is MaxwellMrdr6. |

It makes me sad to see nukesilo so empty, any ideas when the new map will be out? |

Incase anyone is still wondering, I was hoping to have it done before 2010, although thats been scrapped. I will probably have it done like 1-2 months into 2010, though, depending on how active the map testing team is. |

If this is a reference to me, i got justable cause that prohibited me from getting to the interview. I would have liked to make it but I appologize for not bieng able to, and have reapplied. If its any consolation I did try extremely hard to get that interview all the time, and showed up when you asked the first time, but due to an illness you had we had to have it pushed back. |

I have about two buildings or so to add before the map is done, still waiting for Crimson and the rest of the people responsible for testing the map to get together and do it. |

As I don't have such a good computer, I need to leave the compiling to Crimson, unfortunately he can't do regular compiles of the map, so this might take some extra time. I have also bumped into a problem, it seems the player will always only spawn on one spawn. |

To be completely honest, I'm horribly surprised people are replying and posting (but it'd mean much more if Nuker posted). Just because this is happening I'm reinstalling TS. |

Maybe if this game didnt have such horrible history. It got to the point where we were forced out due to the younger more immature generation. I'm glad I left but I long to roleplay, I even tried roleplaying on Gaia Online threads but those are severely lacking. Don't get me started on Harbu that place and the people in it are the biggest assbags. This place was much more tame, mainly from such a big admin force not dealing with bull****. Everything started going downhill when the admins left one by one. It's been five years for me since I joined this server. Maybe everyone has matured. It feels like a long time since I had a really good RP. Though, all I can do is blame other people for jumping on the douchebag mentality bandwagon and ruining everything. I just had to rant. I hate Sven Coop and I hate The Specialists. I have both fond memories of and horrible memories. Madoif Out. |
