Typing /911 will start a 911 call. The call works just like someone calling someone else however it calls all of the police over the intercom (It rings for all police but cannot be heard by people nearby (otherwise it might turn into 7 phones ringing at once at the pd)). A cop can answer the call with /911answer, at which point they will be put on the phone with the caller, at which point it should act like a normal phone call. The point of this is so the cop can get information as to what is going on, where they are, and how serious it is and then direct other police officers / medical to assist the person calling. The player should be able to cancel the 911 call like he can with any phone call and both the cop trying to answer and the person calling must have a phone, can't obviously being calling someone else, be on the phone with someone else, etc. However 911 calls are free and do not require a subscription or money. There can only be one person calling 911 at a time, but once the call is picked up the 911 line is free to be called again, even if the last 911 caller is still on the line Please post bugs/comments/suggestions below. ~Edit~ The beta is now over, the /911 will work as it should now. |

A patch has been released for /911 to fix some bugs, changes below -911 messages should no longer be cut off mid-message -Fixed 'You have answered the call' messages being displayed twice. -Fixed some grammar issues. -You can now use /911beta as well as /beta911 to place a (beta) 911 call. Let me know of anything else that needs to be fixed or other suggestions you may have. |
