As it stands currently, the Mayor is inherently useless, I'm hopping this would address that. For now, I'll just outline the first step in the plan to implement a mayor budget. Included in the NCMO section would be a sub forum called Mayoral budget, where the Mayor would request funds to be released from the City's coffers, which at this point don't really come from anywhere, they're just implicit. This would be set at something reasonable, such as $150,000 a term which can be altered if found to be to much or to little. The Mayor would have to request money, state what its for, and how much he needs. The server manager would then accept or deny this request acting as the "City Consul". This can then be used as a campaign platform, to have a balanced budget, or that the incumbent Mayor is wasting City "taxes" on frivolous things. Later on, I'd like to see a tax system be the actual money that the Mayor's budget comes from, but that doesn't need to be implemented right away. |

Support. This way, a set amount of money can be given to the PD and MD for tazers, cars, and other things like this. |

Well, if the Mayor was taking money from the city and then using it for personal gain, then one of the many lawyers within the city could take advantage of it and sue him on behalf of the city. So really, making it an admin issue when it could potentially be a great RP opportunity seems rather... dumb. |
