Post subject:  Tazer range
I was wondering if you could shorten the range of the tazer becuase ive been tazed from rather long distances. I think i got one from across the street and ground to lightpost. this makes it reather hard to escape from teh 7-11 without a weapon and an intent to kill.

yes but its hard to get tazed from 15-10 feet away, as far as i know atleast

No....Have you ever been tazed? Unless it's a tazer gun you can't hit a da*n thing from that far. Chances are you might hit at 5 feet with a tazer gun. But a regular tazer you have to be right next to the guy...And I got tazed by that. It hurts like hell!

My cousin got a hold of one. I was sittin' there playin' Sven Co-op with Donotree (This was before I moved) and he walks in and tazes me. I stopped playing tried to move away, hit my desk, and looked at him and said, "Ouch, you mother fucker! WTF was that?!"

Well this "request" has certainly gotten off track. I certainly would like the tazer's range to be shortened as well.

As for the off-topic convo, there was a psycho kid in my school who almost got tazered by the cops the other day, because he wouldn't cooperate with the two cops, or my principle. He's the same kid who used to throw chairs and desks at people when he was mad, and turned a rough draft for a graduation speech into a satanic, hate-filled sermon.

I checked with the tazer range and real police tazer range, and its about equal.

The extra distance that is sometimes added (Tazering from top of buildings) is a bug which I think is in the half-life engine, but I dunno for sure.

Doesn't Harbus code the tazer range for 8 meters?

I don't really consider it harbu's code anymore. I give credit to harbu for the orginal plugin and code and keep the names, but the plugins are pretty heavily modified now
