Alright, hope no one minds me intruding here. This guy inspired me to start playing bass, and you already know I am obsessed with the music of him and his band. This is Matt Freeman of Rancid. 3 Different Maxwell Murder solos. I really only recommend watching the first one, but hey, they're all there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pshX1bme_x8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPbhmjFmu9I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiObCHW1TPY |

Max from Rancid is a good bass player... But he uses a pick... And those bass players are a whole 'totally' different breed. |

He uses a pick on very few songs actually, Maxwell Murder being one of them, and that's only on occasion |

But can he play a six-string fretless bass? (Like Les Claypool?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFYiGPblXyg And sing at the same time? |

The chorus, verse, and intro are the only part of the song that were written beforehand. Everything else is improv. EDIT: More Buckethead... Wait for the solo, your eardrums will scream. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDs-HoPnRa8 |
