Ok I said b4 me and my friends were gonna have a TSRP LAn Game i got the plugins everything working I Know alot about amxx and hlds since i used to run a cs server off my pc. Now im a newbie at mysql idk much about it Thats all i need to know to run this lan. Any of u guys can help me. Lan Game is on Saturday night! i still got time! |

its on a media center 2 long to explain.. but i know mysql i've installed it,its just that idk whats it for? like i got the ooc chat etc working but the jobs etc dont work |

Exactly what is wrong? security messing everything up? Well how long will it be up, if its LAN no hacker will get any good out of breaking in, so you dont really need a pass on your server. Also if it is up for a short time then there is no worries about security breaches. Instance wont load? Mainly if security and passes are wrong you will find problems like this, there is another reason I cant remember, I think its the configs being messed up, so to fix, delete you SQL server and reinstall it, everything from scratch. I dont know how to load the data base with the right s*it? Download the program SQLYog (dont worry, its completely free and easy to use). Now inside the .zip file with the files for harbus find "economy.sql" Make sure it is extracted and you can find it easy (like on the desktop, its temp where ever you leave it) and an option in there (not sure exactly where but it is a drop down menu, either at the top or right click inside where DBs are located) will be "Import from SQL dump." From there find your economy.sql and it will be uploaded to the server. Harbu's mod wont connect correctly? Biggest and most common issue here. Make sure you firewall is not blocking the connections to SQL, do this by unblocking the that your SQL server is using (default 3306) and allow only IP's "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" (both mean the same comp its on, use that for harbu_rp_config.cfg as well; make sure you have SQL on the same comp or the lag will be some insane). Also make sure in "TS/addons/amxmodx/configs/harbu_rp_config.cfg" has the correct info for your server. Harbu's wont load or work at all? This is quite common, for harbus mod to work you HAVE to get AMX mod X version 1.01 (not 1.6, 1.65 or 1.7!). And make the rest work or this wont! Namely those, that is my quick 15 post fix on Harbu's. Post again if you still have problems |

ok Thats helpfull thanks But pretty Much all I have is the ooc etc, Idk I cant get the jobs to work idk how to add them. I know it has summ to do with mysql. Do U have to add them trought mysql? |

Another problem when i joined it says pub:Name so i type amx_regname USername and pass and i register but for some reason my name it still pub and it still tells me to register |

That means your server is not currectly connected to the SQL server |
