Fixed it, there was a option to block animated banner ads in ZoneAlarm. Don't know why it didn't work when I shut it off

I can't get .gif files to work correctly on the internet. I've used both Firefox and Internet Explorer, it works on neither. They used to work fine, the old files I saved on my computer off the internet still work. The pictures now all stay still for me and don't move. If anyone could help me fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it. |

It's been like this for about two months, so it's possible I've updated my firewall since then. I use ZoneAlarm Pro 6.0.667.000. |

there lies your problem, zonealarm blocks animated gifs, try disabling it and trying it again.. post your results |
