Alright, for college I'm wanting a really powerful laptop thats still mobile. I have a high budget, any suggestions on what to get? I went to Best Buy, and the guy there wouldn't stop talking about how great macbook pro's are so he was kinda worthless since he wouldn't answer any questions without starting on about how the mac's are better. |

These people annoy me. One of my friends has a laptop that has 4 gigs of ram and a dual processor, I forgot the name though and couldn't figure the graphics card out (Vista :<) I'd say just ask for certain specs and you'll find something, or get a better best buy worker to help you. |

I own an Asus N80V, It's fast and great for gaming. But you have to tell us your preferences first. |

My theory: Get a great laptop thats amazing for gaming now, and it'll still have the specs to be good for ~4years Now, I don't mind getting a Macbook pro, since they are nice: but I think it will be harder to do some of the.. "other things" I do on the Mac.. Although I could get the mac, and partition the hard drive and pretty much run windows off of it (Although that would require that I BUY windows) |

Ok different question now: Whats the difference between a 32 bit and a 64 bit operating system and the pro's and con's of both |

64 bit lets you use more RAM, not sure if there are any downsides to it other than it being more expensive than 32. I'm sure there's more differences than that but I'm really sleepy and can't think so someone please jump in here and correct me. |

Different drivers, depending on your hardware you may have a hard time finding all the drivers for everything. |
