I agree with Brandon.. I would say he got a nice death, dying in what he loved best.. I think everyone should die in their favorite way.. Even myself would love to die in this way since I love the Nature and everything that is about Animals & Nature.. R.I.P. Steve Irwin.. And don't drink all the beer up there.. I want one or two! Stop screwing with animals? Dude if it wasnt for him most of the s*it he saved would be dead, he took s*it away from population, if he diddnt the animals he saved would have probly ben killed / shot. You should accually be thanking him, and wishing that there are more people like him out there.

Personally -- as a budding marine biologist and studying zoologist -- he was terrible at what he did. I respect him as a scientist, but I don't like how he went about his work. He was too rough with the animals and often times interfered in areas that a zoologist is not intended to do.

I didn't enjoy the show because of these reasons. He was accurate in his information, and skilled at what he did, but people shouldn't look to him as a scientific role model.

Hopefully Animal Planet will replace his slot with a show that is less about the excitement and more about the biology.
