Has anyone ever seen the movie War Games (or WarGames, as it may be called)? Filmed in 1983, its about a teenaeger that hacks into the NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) computer and, thinking it belongs to a computer game company, starts to play a game of Global Thermal Nuclear War. When playing the game of Global Thermal Nuclear War, the computer takes full control of NORAD making it look like Russia is attacking and preparing to launch its on missles. He has just hours to convince the government he's not a spy and that the Russians arn't really attacking and stop the Computer, Joshua, from launching the missles strating WWIII. |

Science fiction is a genre of fiction in which advances in science, or contact with more scientifically advanced civilizations, create situations different from those of both the present day and the known past. |

I know, I watch a lot of sci fi. Rudimetrically Sci fi is something not possible by normal standards. And it can also be in the future |

Not to get into an arguement, but... 1) This isnt from the future. 2) The software is possible. It has automated sounds, as you hear as the computers voice. And it chooses hte words from the text given to it. Somewhat like a php bot, or an IRC bot, giving you the ability to have a conversation. It takes your awnsers, and automates them with a command line, which, is connected to the real NORAD computer databases. |
