If your in like cheerleading/gymnastics its kinda the best because if your a spotter you can look up a girls....yeah you know what i mean....

Being very into team sports at my school, like cross country track and gymnastics like ive done in the past, i got excited when i heard of this. There are a lot of kids at school using the school itself, and the downtown area of the city as a playground. They're using the buildings as...well, obstacles. Its genius, and very very fun. They call it free running, but a lot of the kids said it was origonally called La Parkour. I guess its french, I want to learn as much about the acrobatic moves needed to do all this, because I myself are learning. Anyone know any sites or somthing i can look this up? |

Yes. Gymnastics. Dont call it sissy, to be completly realistic here, no lie, in a fight, any guy you see doing gymnastics could probobly own you. I can run up a wall and do a double, and thats nothing... Gymnists constantly lift weight if you think about it. They're lifting their own body weight hours and hours a day on their arms for things like the pummel horse. |

La parkour is f**king cool. What you do is use buildings and stuff to like jump around .. or something like that. I cant explain it. Google videos of it or soemthing. Im telling you, when your a pro, you can do crazy stuff. |

Er, this isn't new s*it. People have been doing this since the Matric came out. My friends and I used to be able to run along the lockers at our school back in middle school. we could get five steps on them. Go ahead, try running the wall, this s*it isn't easy. Feckin French, they are owning the hell out of themselves. |

Free running started in 1988. LOOONG before the Matrix dude...I never said it was new, but Its hit our school like a hurricane, especially since we live not too far from Boston, its cool to go running through Boston. Annd...A double, is two backflips. |
