ok hows this, (well it depends if you have Day Of Defeat Source.) we get a server and lock it from the public, then we have a nukesilo battle. REAL LIFE BATTLE!, none of this running and shooting hopeing to kills omething. im talking about actually using the speach commends to advance, and camping for a minute or two just to make certain of clear flag spots. this would be great. i don't like how ppl just run out there capture a flag then move on... i want to play real life battle. crawling and walking and sniping from rooftops and just not that run and get the flag and go... maybe we can use snipers server for that! whatcha say snipe?

i know, i do it anyways and i do quite well. can you play at nights? i play in the nuclearfallout server ip sw.nuclearfallout.net and i do it anyway, me and you can do our own thing and let them die. lol we will play to the realism!

Yeah, but thats a different topic all together. DoD: Source is world war 2, where NS is Sci-Fi Humans V Aliens style.

I think it would kick ass to play DoD: S the right way (In my opinion). Sneaking around, and carefully hiding, crouching when walking, etc. You think soldiers in WW2 ran around, sat by a flag a second, yelled: "POINT TAKEN!" and then ran off like a little boy to the next flag?

NO

So, i think it would be fun. Besides, it's always fun hiding in the grass.

Lets play a game everyone can play. Like DoD...

And yes, sniper, i hate it when your playing right then some nub comes up and kills everyone..

Cobra, DOD isnt the place to look for if you want an actual WW2-style battle

its way too arcady and most of the weapons are unrealistic, not to mention the way the maps are


if you want an actual battle where people camp like in real life (sometimes you can be in the same position securing something for liek 15 minutes, and half an hour if you like to snipe)

and if you want tanks and armor columns and artillary supporting you while you have air support dogfighting and strafing the enemy...

then buy World War 2 Online

cuz its the s*it, and all the battles are epic and huge and very very very realistic

plus if everyone in Nukeislo got into a squad and went on ventrilo and selected an infantry class we could all probably cap an entire town ourselves

heh, i could probably coordinate a para-drop so we could go behind enemy lines and sneak in Cool

that's like starcraft...WAY TO much thinking invalved, i want to control one person and one person only, and to have a team, Sniper whenever you'd like me, you, s34l and whomever wants to play we will set up a time, i just sighned up for xfire also: nscobra is my name, don't know whatever this does but everyone seems to have to so i do now. WOOT! this will kick ass.

its a first person shooter

you control one guy in a big ass battlefield with tanks, airplanes, destroyers, cruisers, bombers, artillary, trucks, anti aircraft, and EVERYTHING

SWIM-BYS!

i did it once on DOD and i was swimming underwater and these guys were walking on the sidewealk next to me. i emerged from the water and lit them up! IT WAS INSANE!
