Templeton motions for Jason to take a seat, a grim look on his face as he eyes the discoloration on the dry-wall behind the newcomer, where Hugh's brains stained permanently. "A good day to die, I hope," he said, placing in a new shell and spinning the cyllinder. "Or a pleasant day for easy money." |

Jason looks at the blood on the wall and quickly wonders if he made a mistake getting into this game. "Whatever," he thought. "Easy money, right?" Jason hands Arthur the 5000 dollar "entry fee," takes the gun, puts it to his head and pulls the trigger... |

Templeton jolts at the loud, jarring noise of the hammer-strike; the metallic click resounds through an empty chamber. "An excellent poker-face, Jason. Splendid game, isn't it?" Jason's prize has increased to $10,000. "Double your money, sir?" Arthur asks, spinning the cyllinder once more, and passing the gun back to his new client. |

The gun clicks, Jason is still alive. Sweat is pouring down his face. "This is harder than I thought..." "Double your money, sir?" Arthur asks, spinning the cyllinder once more. Jason thinks about the proposal for a moment, taking into consideration whether his life is worth $20,000. "Sure, why not? Easy money, right...?' he thought, not knowing if it would be his last. Jason puts the revolver to his head once more and pulls the trigger... |

The hammer smacks down on an empty chamber; Templeton leans back, claps his hands together, and begins cackling. "You should really see the look on your face, laddie," he says, spinning the cyllinder once more. "It's worth every dollar in my pocket." Jason's prize has increased to $20,000. "Fancy another spin, Jason? In theory, you could clack that hammer down to a million dollars." Templeton coughs. "In theory." |

The gun clicks for the second time, Jason is still alive, heart pounding, and sweating even more. "Fancy another spin, Jason? In theory, you could clack that hammer down to a million dollars." Templeton coughs. "In theory." Jason smiles. "I'm just that good." Jason puts the gun up to his head once more. "Easy money....?" |

*Snap!* The hammer clicks down against an empty chamber with a bit of a spark, and Templeton twitches for a moment, grinning again. "Easy money." Jason's prize has increased to $40,000. Templeton retrieves his gun, and takes his time, spinning it around and smiling. "You fancy another game? Hell, I'll play it with you if win another round; I'm as good as dead if you make me bankrupt." |

The gun clicks for the third time....still alive. Templeton retrieves his gun, and takes his time, spinning it around and smiling. "You fancy another game? Hell, I'll play it with you if win another round; I'm as good as dead if you make me bankrupt." "Alright....one more game...but you first." Jason spins the cylinder and hands the revolver to Arthur. "Your turn." |

Templeton seizes up the revolver, keeping an eye on the gambler across the room. "You make a very appealing offer, Jason." He removed his glasses, and put the barrel of the .357 to his temple, his finger rubbing slowly along the trigger. He licked his lips, shut his eyes, and squeezed. Clack. The hammer came down on an empty chamber, and Arthur let out a mad yell, cackling and kicking over his chair as he took to his feet. "It never gets easier, but it gets a hell of a lot more fun!" he noted, roaring with laughter. "Your turn." Templeton spun the cyllinder, raised the gun to his client, and shut one eye, staring hazily down the sights of the revolver. "I just want you to know, it's been an honor to play with a man with some balls for once." The hammer came down, and the live shell in the chamber roared back in a deafening explosion; the gun kicked back, and Templeton dropped it on his over-turned chair in surprise. "Well I'll be damned," he muttered, rubbing his sore hand. "I thought the poor son-of-a-bitch was lucky!" Victim number II, Jason Linus. |

As Jason Linus's blood spatters against the walls, the faint sound of uncontrollable giggling seems to come from the back room of the bar, but perhaps it is just an echo. |
