Templeton's Game A letter addressed; "Dearest Friend," found under your glass at the local bar. There is a weight inside the envelope, and as you open it, you find a single bullet, a .357 shell. The letter inside is on expensive cardstock, and written in a fine, almost archaic hand. Life is a curious thing, I notice. The only men I've ever known to enjoy it to it's fullest are those that have come inches from losing it; it is on that note that you have received this letter. You, as I, fear nothing more than losing your life. You are not, as I am not, a coward. And you are living, as I have been living, in eternal haze. What I offer is an invitation to clarity, or to death. Nothing betwixt, nothing further. That is the sincerest nature of this fatal paradox. Six chambers; five empty, a bullet in one alone. For each spin, and each pull of the trigger, you shall double your money. The buy-in is $5,000 American dollars, and you take the exact amount you put in, compensation. May the living part a little brighter, and best wishes and uttermost heavy-hearted prayers to our dearly departed. ~Arthur The Rules: I. You pay me, Arthur Templeton, $5,000 dollars, and I make a solemn vow that, if you win, you will double your money each spin. One spin, $10,000 dollars. Two spins, $20,000. Three spins, $40,000, and so forth. There is a one out of six chance that you will find a bullet in your chamber, and you will perish. [[This will be a CK, unfortunately. Choose wisely.]] II. If you earn more money than I may pay, I can partake in the game if you so wish to let me earn the money back. The revolver will be passed between us. If I survive, and you die, you will unfortunately not receive your hard-earned money. If I die, you keep the money, and my estate will continue to fund your endeavors to the full earnings of your gamble. [[You will be paid in full, but it may take some time. I'll have another character, a representative of Templeton's 'Estate' take out a loan.]] To Partake of the Game; [[Send $5,000 dollars, and approach Arthur Templeton in-game; his phone number is listed, and if you wish, you may send a letter by Forum.]] |

Hugh Jazs walks in with confidence spelled all over his face. He goes up to the game master and says "LET'S DO THIS" Hugh then gets the gun and puts it in his mouth. |

Ben's younger brother, Jason, comes into Nuke City after hearing of his brother's success in the local import/export business. "Yeah! I'm gonna be rich and powerful, just like my brother!" he thought, full of hope. He walks into the bar, where his brother Ben told him they were to meet, and see's the note. "Easy money," thought Jason. |

A local of NukeCity is looking for some action, and walks into a bar looking for a challenge. "If anything this will be the place to get one." Kei mutters to himself. After sitting for a while, and nothing happening he finds the note and reads it. Kei laughs a hearty chuckle. "Perfect." |

Senior SWAT officer Kami O' Joe waltzes into the bar, whistling "build me up buttercup" to himself as he glides smoothly accross the floor. After a hard day's work, he needs a good drink of applejuice. He takes a seat, and calls the waiter for a drink. He then walks into the bathroom, and when he's done sits himself back down. Upon picking up his applejuice, he notices a note stick to his glass... "Oh my...." He radios in to the department, "Is this legal?", he asks as he reads the letter over the radio. The operator responds, "I've no idea....personaly I say let it go, but it's not up to me" Joe smiles, "I most certainly agree" |

Wake walks into the bar for a nice drink, then realizes the amount of blood on the wall. "Bout time they repainted it, the brown was getting annoying." |
