Color blending AND the light flash

hope this helps u

1) get the picture you want.
2) then go to the Lasso tool and click on it and go to Palygonel Lasso tool.
3) go over the part you want to "Glow"
4) then right click it and go to VIA LAYER COPY
5) then do
6) Layer>Layer Style and scroll down to Gradient Overlay
7) use these settings....

u can change the ANGLE to anything you want depending what image your doing if u see i did it tilted to the left because the guys eye it to the left ocpacity means how bright it is and then scale is how big hte light is at the top it was NORMAL go down to COLOR DODGE
now it gets kinda trick while you still how out this..

go to the little arrow button and then click on wher the light thingy is and if u move the mouse itll move the light move it to the left wher eu cant see it all all THEN click OKAY
9) then press CTRL+M
10)it should open into imageready go to window>animation to open your animation thing if its not open and then click this button...

after that open it back up in photoshop by pressin the little button the menu on the left at the bottem just look for it.
11) THENgo back to the gradient overlay and then you remember how you moved it to left? get out the arrow again and move it to the right so you cant see it
12) press CTRL+M again!
13) then what you do is press the TWEEN button

RIGHT beside the button highlighted in the picture above its the little ball with the 3 balls under it AKA left of duplicate layer
14) set it to about 40 frames thatll make it go sorta fast the more frames you make the slower itll go
15) then go to FILE>SAVE OPTIMIZED AS>and save it and your all done I hope this helped ya out!

1) First open up some random image you want to add things to like so...

2) make a new layer and go to Filter>render>clouds then go to COLOR on the blending settings like so....

3) after that go to layer>layer styles>gradient overlay then do these settings...

4)click on the gradient dropbox 2 times quickly and then click the color thingy on the little tabs and click the color box and change it to ANY color youd like do that to BOTH of the tabs you can pittle around with em by moving them around and makin one larger etc.


5) then change the blend mode on the drop box it should say NORMAL change it to COLOR.


6) and your done it should look like this
