I have gone around all the plugins which uses sql and added a new connection checker much more reliable than the old one. If a plugin which requires sql is unable to get any data from the database for over 3 minutes, it will trigger an automatic restart of the server which fixes 99% of these problems.
In other words, I believe that the errors with talkarea/admin gunshop being broken/etc should no longer occur, and if they do, it will require no admin intervention to fix them. (now watch those stupid errors continue anyway....)
If you do encounter any of those errors, and the server does not restart itself within 5 minutes, please let me know, thanks.
