Wow. I mean, wow. No, really...WOW. It has been a while. A long time...

I was browsing through some old e-mails and discovered some NukeSilo forum things. Last time I was here, or, well, I believe the last time I was here, was when the forums were locked down by SNuker to get rid of spam bots. I came back and saw some updates on the front page.

I was like, "No way!!" Then excitedly come rushing onto the forum, only to see that it's still not used very much. A few posts, not all by the staff team (which is fantastic), but not many.

Anyway, I'd love to see some actual activity. It's the summer of 2012. I believe two (three?) summers ago we were promised something that summer, and obviously that hasn't happened.

Supernuker, Crimson, I'm looking for your input. What is happening?

Hi James, and welcome back. I'll refer you to khatool's latest post in the TSRP section if you want to do some RPing. As for the map, my take on it (take it for what it's worth), is that progress technically has been made, although at about the rate of one major update released to the community every two years. Whatever the excuse may be, and there have been plenty, the responsible parties simply aren't working on it. I'm sure their interests lie somewhere beyond TSRP now, so I guess we can't really blame anyone.

HAH, Vincetti, it's been AGES. Welcome back to nothing, friend. TSRP is dead, minus Havoc9, saw them trying something earlier today. 9/30 people in the server, it's a good start if anything is going to happen I suppose. Anyhow, doubt it will last. SnowBlind! has been talking of making a server of his own, don't know if that's a for sure thing or not. More over, seeing people put in some effort for this is giving me a spark of hope for TSRP, not sure about Nuke, not really too concerned anymore. If anything needs to be planned, I'd suggest both of you shoot a line to Shadow via Steam or email, I believe he's been planning a few steps into this matter. See you guys in-game I suppose, hopefully.

I want to play, if it happens I'd be there (hopefully). I can't even connect to the server even though I see it up. I consistently get "Cannot connect to server" when I try.

Ahha, it's great to see you all!

Yeah, I've been relatively active around TSRP. It's dead, even more-so in the past few months. A lack of motivation due to a lack of interest is completely understandable. I'm definitely going to contact Shadow, and if anything were to come up, I'd sure as hell be interested in.

Also, I can map, if anything or anyone would need me to.

You can map with Goldsrc? s*it is so complicated compared to Source, lol.

Also, darkapples, I get the same problem; I think everyone does.

I hope this doesn't sound arrogant, but it would be nice if whatever was causing the connection problem was fixed by whatever admin can do it now. I know people don't really play, but I'd log on a few times a week even if there were only 4 or 5 of us. I just want to be able to connect.

I don't know what I might be able to do to try and fix the connection issue. Perhaps just reset the server? Either way, if I can get Steam working on my laptop, I'll give it a try.

I can connect to the server, I do not get the error.

And Skippy, I think quite the contrary. I find Source mapping to be more difficult than GoldSrc mapping.
