So, here's the backstory...

The NCPD & SWAT Team raid the Warehouse, after surveilance revealed suspicious characters going in (with packages) and coming out (with nothing). Also noticing the increase in gun-related crimes, the police force of NukeCity plan an attack on what they believe to be the heart of the problem. Upon entering the warehouse, a man inside is arrested. He is taken to the police station and interrogated, revealing that he sells weapons, and that his "boss" goes by the name of "Trey." He is released later for good behavior & cooperation with the interrogation. The released prisoner was Aces. He was not killed IC between this time and now (that I am aware of).

That was a few hours ago. Now, less than an hour ago...

A man is arrested for brandishing and firing a gun in public near the 7/11. Aces saw us taking him in and followed us in to the PD, asking to visit the arrested man. We allowed it, disarmed him, and took him to the cell. He immediately called him "Trey," so we escorted Aces outside. We had our man. The head honcho. Note, Aces obviously recognized Trey at this point in time, and had positively ID'ed him.

A little while after that...

We took Trey in to the interrogation room, where Henry Williams began the interrogation. To "calm" the suspect, he uncuffed Trey. Throughout the entire interrogation, SMS beeps could be heard regularly. I'm not aware of what they said, but this is against police protocol and a very bad idea as far as common sense goes. Trey, of course, denies all charges & evidence brought before and against him. This is predictable, and not a bad thing. Every criminal would do this to keep themselves from being incriminated further. Williams decides he wants to bring in our witness who revealed Trey originally. We do, and keep in mind this is Aces. We bring Aces in to the observation room, where he refuses to identify Trey again. Why? Because he doesn't have Trey's model.

This is where the fun begins...

Unless Trey had RPed a drastic appearance-altering event between the time Aces ID'ed him in his cell and the time we asked Aces to ID him in the interrogation room (which he didn't, since we simply walked him down there and nothing happened), this is a terrible reason. I asked in admin chat if this was a valid reason to let Trey go, and Nuker said to forget the models. This clears up the issue. We quickly get back to the RP. By this time, Aces has been saying OOC that he wants to leave, that he's bored, etc. We ask him if he can identify Trey. He says no. Presumably so he can leave as soon as possible.

I understand that sitting around arguing about models can get boring very fast, but that's no reason to sacrifice the ENTIRE RP that had been going on for several hours.

I won't go on personal rants against any of the RPers involved, but overall this was just stupid.

Of course it's obvious that he recognized him immediately, and the only reason he did NOT identify him is because he wanted to leave. He was bored. He wanted to do something more self-gratifying. So he said no. You wanted to bail out Trey the instant we had him in the interrogation room. You even left him uncuffed during the whole thing. Before the server crash, he was in there with guns. You didn't care. You even said so in the intercom. Plus, you forgot ENTIRELY about all of the evidence we obtained from the Laptop in the warehouse, which had multiple names within it. If you don't believe me, Zdrok, Laten, or anyone else who was there. We already had confirmation that he was trafficking drugs. Our only evidence wasn't the witness - that's just all the evidence you knew about.

For one thing no drugs have been sold. Never even bought. I also think its stupid that you can accuse me of having drugs when we have no choice on the drugs in the hideout. If i had any say the laptop wouldn't be there. If a witness doesnt want to identify someone they dont have to either. And don't throw around my name thinking i REALLY RP'ed bad I RP'ed that good. If you had eyes or were literate you would have seen that. I cooperated IC and answered questions well. In actual police interrogation rooms they bring them in sometimes cuffed sometimes uncuffed. Since you were just questioning me i was to remain uncuffed. I was not charged with any crime at the time of it happening either. Dont blame me for Aces answers either. Youre only upset because you didnt get your way and it hit you in the face. This is stupid.

Bah! If only I had been there I could have acted as a lawyer, prosecutor or judge.
