um basically the gman froze time, saved you, then put you somewhere (maybe some sort of statis chamber?) and left.

yeah i bet there is gunna be a hl3 I CAN'T WAIT!!! lol my sister and i were at gamespot and she was all so u beat halflife2. and i was all yup. then she said u should get halflife3!! i was like dude they just finished makin hl2... they haven't even started makin hl3 yet. then she was all i bet its done. ask the guy that works here!! i was laughin my ass of! lolololol funny s*it

she plays cs too??? O ya and hl2 was suppose to come out 2000, but they delayed it. they started the project when i started playing cs. so actually they didnt actually just finished it. it was finished a long time ago just never released

well i'm sure that they were upgrading it since then... cuz those graphics are bad ass!! and no1 could have graphics that good in 2000 so they were modifying it then

Actally it wasn't, you know how many bugs they had to repair, and get the graphics like that (just like frosty said) and make them work that good? They may have finished the alpha game along time ago.. but the game itself wasn't finished to the point which it was released until a few months before its release
