I say we add a second slot below job, Political party. We can make the server very political which adds a whole new side of RP. It doesn't take much coding either :).

What I'm saying is, when you look at people, instead of seeing- Photographer.
You now see: Photographer
Socialist
Or: Stripper
Liberal Concern Party

This can enhance the government in town a great deal, and make elections far more organized.

Because in real life I can look at people and tell if their democrats or republicans, right?

Eh, this just sounds like it'd be a tad bit useless. Just ask.

I'd say yeah to political parties, but no to any hard coding. It would be great as an essence of RP, but we don't actually need to work it into a plug-in or anything.

K, well then a forum designated for political parties would be nice. To keep rosters and what not. I would say for them to be forum organizations would be nice.

bumpage, this is a good idea. Polarization would enhance RP out of the sluggish doldrums it seems to have fallen into

Actually, it is a good reason not to want political parties here. It could cause a great amount of tension between players. I assume that's part of what Tsukasa is saying. That isn't necessarily my own opinion.

i actually wanted to create an org around a political party. Except it wouldn't be socialist or communist or anything like that. I pmed perlov to ask if i could submit an application. I have a really good and detailed idea for an org.

The CIA takes no responsibility in what happens between the parties.
