Is it possible to get or make a plugin where you can go into the gunshop with a gun that you already possess (have equipped) and put addons on it and pay for them separately from actually having to buy their own guns before you can? I just thought that would be cool and a bit more realistic in a way....

No, he means buy addons for a gun you did not buy in the gunshop

I've always wanted this also.

What he means is, say you pick up an AK47, and want a scope on it. You go to the gunshop, and buy a scope.
