I was recently inspired by sven co op and the fact that you can play mp3s in game. This was very nice because i dont have to run win amp and have to go to desktop to change songs. So i have the idea of being able to buy an cd player which will hold 10 songs or so, a cheap mp3 player which will hold like 200 and a ipod will will hold 500 songs. Youd be able to add songs to them buy making a file on your computer with the file location then the name of the song. I.E documents/songs/damnitfeelsgoodtobeagangsta.mp3 "SONG NAME" ARTIST"

youd be able to browse the differnet artists on your mp3s only. on the cd player youd jsut press next or w/e. i tihnk thisd be a great plugin and might want some people to play with it. ive never played on a server that had a plugin like this. (besides car mod...)

It would probly cause a lot of lag, seeing as how the server would have to query every player to see what songs are in that play list.

Other than that, it doesnt sound too hard.

well, you could create like 3 songs from every genre and sel lthem at the 7-11 to buy.

I dunno how it would be possible with a plugin to select songs off your computer, it would prob have to be the same songs for everyone.

Unless you like made a folder in sounds, and renamed the songs to like 1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3 or something like that it may not be possible.

Buy lets say a MP3 player. Then you can use the mp3 player and a list will pop up


Play Song:
Song1
song2
song3
song4
song5
song6
song7
song8



And make those 8 songs required download when you join the server

Yeah, thats how it would have to be done, but the original post said select your own songs.

well you can make the command list like select one song and it runs the song ingame, like cs a bit where u put the song in your cs folder n wut not.

Just remember, do NOT have them songs that are made by an artist, becuase that can be considered as stealing.
Maybe have some songs made the community , or atleast if you get a song made by someone fanous, atleast give credit.
