I can't get .gif files to work correctly on the internet. I've used both Firefox and Internet Explorer, it works on neither. They used to work fine, the old files I saved on my computer off the internet still work. The pictures now all stay still for me and don't move. If anyone could help me fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

It's been like this for about two months, so it's possible I've updated my firewall since then. I use ZoneAlarm Pro 6.0.667.000.

there lies your problem, zonealarm blocks animated gifs, try disabling it and trying it again.. post your results

Didn't help, but it loaded some sigs that I've never seen before.

Fixed it, there was a option to block animated banner ads in ZoneAlarm. Don't know why it didn't work when I shut it off Confused
