I agree with Brandon.. I would say he got a nice death, dying in what he loved best.. I think everyone should die in their favorite way.. Even myself would love to die in this way since I love the Nature and everything that is about Animals & Nature.. R.I.P. Steve Irwin.. And don't drink all the beer up there.. I want one or two! I hope for you people will take care of your family.. You are already missing us.. We will miss your good humor..

I never liked him for that reason.

But yeah, he will be missed.

Stop screwing with animals? Dude if it wasnt for him most of the s*it he saved would be dead, he took s*it away from population, if he diddnt the animals he saved would have probly ben killed / shot. You should accually be thanking him, and wishing that there are more people like him out there.

Not to mention one of his main goals was to educate the world about wildlife - which he succeeded at.

In 2002 he said if he were to die, he would want it to be caught on camera, which it was. At least his wish came true.

If mankind didn't fail so bad in the first place, he wouldn't have to save anything. Mankind makes mistakes that perpetuate.

Personally -- as a budding marine biologist and studying zoologist -- he was terrible at what he did. I respect him as a scientist, but I don't like how he went about his work. He was too rough with the animals and often times interfered in areas that a zoologist is not intended to do.

I didn't enjoy the show because of these reasons. He was accurate in his information, and skilled at what he did, but people shouldn't look to him as a scientific role model.

Hopefully Animal Planet will replace his slot with a show that is less about the excitement and more about the biology.

GOGO BIOLOGY WOOT! xD

Then you should stop complaining, get the f**k out of your chair, and go plant a tree. Go hang with the biology student 'extraordinaire' and stop bitching at one man some of us can and will respect.

If you care that much, and apparently you do if you can sit here and contradict a dead man, go do something about what 'we've all been at fault for'.
