ACSD ROE(Rules of Engagement): The basic role of a Police Officer is simple, they are the keepers of the peace. When you are on duty do just that. Dont harass people or be particularly strict. When on patrol be always willing to help even if its not for an offense; like giving someone a tour of the town. When on duty you should always be wearing your badge (or police uniform). When joining a server contact your supervisor, either personally or on police com, that your are starting your shift.
Below is a list of the basic police commands that you should know and bind /Tazer – Allows you to tazer people /Cuff – Hand cuff's people /Com <Message> - allows you to talk on the police radio Currently we don not support jailmod commands so if someone is avoiding jail to a major extent contact an admin.
Here is the how too guide for the ACSD:
- Crimes: When dealing with crimes use common sense. If the offender commits multiple crimes then they will stack. If they commit armed robbery with a pistol, then kill an individual with an unlicensed pistol, that is three offense stacked up to total 17 minutes in jail with a $250 fine. If the officer is killed during an RP that officer is not allowed to respawn and continue with the prosecution/involvement of that RP. (Exception: If the player is DM'ing or there is only one officer on duty this is an exception. The officer may respawn and continue with the prosecution/RP under their best judgment.)
- Bail: The arresting officer may choose to withhold or offer bail regardless of location. If you choose to offer bail, there is no mandatory fee required.
- Jail: If the individual/s are paced in jail, and you choose to fine them as well, you must fine them first before they are placed in a holding cell. Jail times should never exceed 20 minutes regardless of stacking offenses this is the max jail time cap. (Note – If the officer tells the criminal to go to jail and they do not listen or they evade(out side of RP), contact an admin until further mods are supported.) **Any jail sentences must be timed by watch until further mods are supported.** Fines: An officer can choose to fine an offender at any time before incarceration. An officer can choose the fine amount depending on the circumstances but should follow, as close as possible, the fines listed below.
- Gun Licenses: Atomic City members must have a valid gun license in order too own a gun of any kind. A knife or sword does not require a license because it is not a gun. Listed below are the jobs that do not require a license to wield. Each service is bound by the type of arms allowed. SWAT/ACSD: Any Mayor's Guards: Any guns are allowed for Mayor protection only. Store Guards: Handguns in store ONLY CID: Handguns, SMG's and Shotguns
Listed below are six offense categories. Under each category are a list of basic laws and actions taken to prosecute the criminal. These offenses are guidelines that should be followed to as closely as possible. Number one rule when dealing with a possible criminal situation is common sense. Each situation is different and the offense may not be listed in the laws. Use common sense, like a real police officer would, when dealing with any situation.
