There has been a lot of discussion of us switching over to ARP from our current build of Harbu. To be honest, I haven't experimented with ARP alot, so I'd like to gather everyone's opinions and comments, and if everyone thinks we switch or not. If an overall majority thinks we should switch then I'll consider switching over to ARP. Please note though that this won't be like, oh we will switch in a week type thing, depending when the map comes out, I may or may not wait until then to switch over. I've also enabled re-voting, so if you vote one way then change your mind later, you can change your vote.

Please comment, tell me whats good with it, whats bad with it, whats good/bad with our current plugins, what we should keep if we switch, what we should get rid off if we switch, etc.

Thanks

The good thing about ARP is that you can program properties easier, we seem to be doing fine on management. But for everything else, and just for the sake of using good ol' Harbu, I would say Harbu.

ARP. You'll experience better performance, less CPU usage, multi-threaded SQL queries and a LOT more. Plus you get a library of active support users that will help you learn about everything you need to to code for it.

Chances are, I won't need that if we switch, but its nice to know.

There most likely won't be any sort of plugin change until the new map, if we do one at all.
