I would like a plugin or mod which would allow doctors to actually heal damage done to you. I know this sounds like it'll detract from RP scenarios, because-- and I've seen it in Tension RP-- doctors could slowly loose sight of their original and just purpose of RPing their jobs and adding flavor to the RP scene. I understand that doctors could simply go from RPing, to walking up to someone who's lost hp and healing them without RPing worth a poop.
"Doctor, I've been shot! Help!"
"Ok, just hold still for a moment..."
*Doctor uses looks at patient and uses the healing item that doctors would get*
"//Wait....aren't you going to...you know...RP it?"
"No, you're good. Have a nice day!"
BUT
I think if we have a staff of good doctors who know that they should be adding to the RP that we could implement this. It would add a bit more of a purpose to going to the MD, and make it so that the doctors could actually heal you :D . I'm going there to RP getting healed, might as well actually heal me while they're at it.

To help clear up some of the confusion, here is my input. How I usually start to heal people that come in, is to first diagnose them, bring them into a room, and place them on the bed. The bed heals whoever is on top of it. There are no notifications that you are healed and no way to tell you are healed because hud is disabled as it is with most TSRP servers. And to further your suspicion if you came in badly injured, your screen is blinking red, the bed will periodically not fix your red blinking screen. You are at 99 HP (I believe it might be 100), and you can not be healed any more even though you are still blinking. The only time the MD in my opinion should use an item that heals is if they are in the field or a place where you can not set someone down in a room and examine them. And even then you should RP it as if you are just using an item (objects you will find in a medical/emergency/operation kit). However, these items do exist that heal as much as 50 HP.

Those numbers were all from memory so don't bet your life on them.

What we really need is a cloning device to produce about 20 more Gordons to constantly man the Hospital, thereby providing heals and fabulous RP for all.

I think I might have that device on my computer. For some reason I am always seeing Gordons.

Amazing bump, first off. Secondly, there is no roleplaying value in having a bed heal people.

There kind of is, you're resting away the wounds. The human body regenerates as long as it's in a comfortable environment.
