WHAT IS SWAT?
SWAT is an elite tactical group of officers used in extreme situations were someone has the potential to get seriously hurt, in hostage situations, bank robberies, and performing high risk warrants. MANY people have forgot the main purpose of SWAT, which is to end situations in the SAFEST and in the most NONLETHAL way.

Rules:

1) Use common sense, Do not be stupid.
2) Be leaders in the field. Do not give an Officer 1 of the NCPD the negotiation job in a major hostage situation. You were hand picked as the best of the NCPD, act like it.
3) If SWAT training or missions are NOT going on, you are to go on patrol in uniform.
4) Follow the chain of command. SWAT Officers and NCPD officers are,

If a commanding officer (SWAT Senior officer and above) is not on the server. The highest-ranking NCPD officer (NCPD Senior Officer and above) is in charge.

-When a SWAT member is not responding to a call, they will act as normal police officers.
-All SWAT members will wear police uniforms when NOT on a call, when on a call you may wear your SWAT uniforms.

WEAPON GUIDELINES:
There are many questions about what SWAT officers have permission to use. And to set it straight…
-You have permission to use ANYTHING. Silencers included. Be smart with what you choose.

DO:
-Keep a balanced arsenal. You should always have a pistol on you and at times have a shotgun or sub-machinegun. (I usually patrol with a pistol and shotgun)

DO NOT:
-Use the Ruger (Its truly a worthless weapon in SWAT).
-Use the Barrett without meeting the new requirements for its use.

Requirements for using the Barrett rifle:
-There MUST be a need. The Barrett rifle will not be used unless,
-You MUST be a SWAT Sniper or above.

*There is a hostage situation that CANNOT be worked out peacefully.
*There are three or more heavily armed people robbing.

IF, you’re found using the Barrett for ending the situation “just because it took too long” or “They couldn’t RP at all”, there will be disciplinary actions toward that officer which including being demoted OR in rare (But clear) abuse cases termination of you job.

This is to help preserve good RP’ing. Shooting people with the Barrett from across the map is not good RP’ing in most cases.

BREACHING GUIDELINES:

Breaches may only be performed if a search warrant has been issued or, lacking a warrant and the situation merits a breach, then the two highest ranking members of either NCPD, SWAT, or NCIU must agree to a breach.

Search warrants can only be issued by NCPD Captains and above, SWAT assistant chief and above or NCIU Assistant leader and above.

If no one who meets the criteria above is online then the if the two highest ranking officers on agree they can also issue a search warrant for SWAT Entry (Officer III or above only however)

NOTE: If abuse of the breach power is reported/confirmed, the consequence will be immediate termination of your job. This is not limited to losing your job; abuse of force door is banable in severe cases.

UPON ENTRY:

-All SWAT officers are encouraged (Pretty much required) to be equip with SWAT flashes with are a million times better than the regular flashes.
-Follow the charts on how to clear the specified room.
(CHARTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE SOON TO ALL SWAT MEMBERS)
-Remember, the purpose of SWAT is to neutralize the situation, not for increasing the budget on body bags.

(Anything in this document may change at anytime)

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS/SUGGESTIONS REGARDING THE RULES PLEASE PM ME.
